This presentation is designed to teach your students about common sentence clarity problems, including misplaced modifiers, dangling modifiers, and passive voice, as well as strategies for combining sentences together. The twenty-nine sl ides presented here are designed to aid the facilitator in an interactive presentation of methods for improving sentence structure. It was not long ago that producing multimedia digital content required expensive equipment and technical expertise; we are at the point now where we can do some very compelling content creation with nothing more complex than a web browser. In this workshop you will:

• Design a basic story concept that can be created in a web 2.0 tool using images, audio, and/or video.
• And then create it quickly using one of 50+ different web tools that are free to use.
• Plus, you will share in this wiki site your example and observations on the value of the tool

We are using the word “story” in a general sense; it may be a deeply personal one of the digital storytelling variety, or it may be a tale of a travel trip, or a simple multimedia presentation.

I have been super busy working and just accepted an editorial job as writer of online course content for an English course geared at high school students here in Italy.

High school is 5 years long and very tough thus drop outs and flunkies so these courses could work for those key problems in a digital age. It is also good for me to continue my e-learning vein being that it is a specialized field and I got my Masters in it in 2006. wow!

Learning environments offer excellent opportunities for stimulating lifelong learning in both compulsory and adult education. The creation of high quality content for learning environments is essential for the successful use of this new way of learning. It is important to train teachers how to create such content and this is the main aim of our project: training teachers to create content for learning environments. By providing such a training we will contribute to the establishment of a culture of innovation in the educational organisations of all teachers who follow our training. This will directly contribute to achieve the aim “to support the development of innovative ICT-based content, services, pedagogies and practice for lifelong learning” set out in the aims of the LLP programme.

As a first step in developing the TACCLE materials, we are now doing a survey to get to know Teachers needs.
